Frame
The WaltX Dune 1 is built on a strong TIG welded steel frame. TIG or Tungsten insert gas is an advanced welding method used to bring out strong and smooth welds to the tubes and also making the frame tensile and responsive for rough roads. The seat tube splits into the 2 tubes at the bottom for equal strength and weight distribution to make sure the vibrations of the surface are absorbed evenly, thus giving a smooth riding experience. The frame geometry is designed to give the rider an upright riding posture.

Gears
The Dune 1 is a multi-speed MTB installed with 21 speed gears. The derailleurs are Shimano Tourney TX51 3 speed at the front and Shimano Tourney TX55 7 speed at the rear. This 21 speed gearing system helps the rider with total control over the speed of the bicycle and the pressure in pedalling so as to easily adjust to any riding surface, inclines and declines. These Shimano Tourney derailleurs are controlled by Shimano’s EF500 Alloy trigger shifters with clear gear indicator panels.

Brakes
The Dune 1’s stopping power is handled by a pair of Logan branded mechanical disc brakes. These disc brakes from Logan are powerful to bring the fat 4” wide tires to a complete halt quickly and in a safe manner. The WaltX Dune 1’s brakes are operated by Shimano EF500 Alloy easy 3 finger brake levers.

Tires
Tires are the star of Dune 1 with fat profiles and strong rims. The Dune 1 rolls on a pair of Wanda 26” x 4.0” fat tires with bulky tread buttons which provide superior traction on all terrains. Be it sand, mud, tar or even snow, these tires can roll over them easily.
